Board of Directors

Kelsi Sullivan

Co-President

Kelsi is a wife and mother of 2 grown children, Jaylin, 19 and step-daughter, Emily, 20. She became a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) in July 2017, which was an eye-opening experience to the struggles and issues facing the foster care system. After learning that some foster children were being required to spend nights in the DCS office when removed from their homes, she became passionate about helping make this traumatic experience a little easier by having a home where these children can be placed until DCS can find the best possible long term placement for them.

Ashley Gilstrap

Co-President & Fundraising Committee Chair

Ashley is a social worker at Hoosier Uplands Economic Development Corporation. She is the South-Central Indiana Area Health Education Center Scholars Coordinator, in addition to working in other various roles at the organization. Ashley serves on the board for the Agape Kids House because she believes there is a major need for this service in Lawrence County. She believes the agency will serve out an important mission in the community and is grateful to work with a group of people dedicated to the improvement of the foster care system.

Brad Swihart

As an Attorney, Bradley has represented many families that have been separated because of substance abuse. He has seen first hand the trauma that these issues have on children. We owe it to the kids in this community to do whatever it takes to ensure a positive future with a successful placement. Agape Kids House is a step to that end.

Dialevash LeRoy

Dialevash  joined the Agape Kids House board in September of 2018. She also serves as Co Director on the Royal Family Kids Camp #334 board. She got involved with the Agape Kids House because she believes what comes naturally to you is your God given talent and loving children is her passion. Dialevash is a 1997 graduate of Mitchell High School. She attends Church at Bedford Baptist Temple. She has worked for the State of Indiana as a Gaming Agent since 2006. She is a mother to one daughter who serves in the US Air Force. For fun she volunteers to support her community and loves to exercise, travel, read, fellowship and cook.

Amber Gilstrap

Secretary

Amber is a former educator. She and her husband, Scott, have owned and operated a local business for more than 2 decades in Lawrence County. Amber is an advocate for children and families and feels strongly that there are some significant gaps in services in our community. Amber serves on the Agape Kids House board because she believes they can provide an important missing link in the chain of services for our children.
